Trail Description:
Goat worthy, Big tough climb right out of the parking lot. Reward is major views, incredible trail, and wildflowers all right at the fringe of the blast zone 12 miles due north of Mount St. Helens. 8000' option if you go around Tumwater peak into "the hole."

How to get there:
Head to Windy Pass at St. Helens. Turn South on FS road 26. Park at the dirt road parking lot about 1/2 mile past Ryan Lake. Either go out and back or take Green River trail back to the car. Green Trails map: Spirit Lake
