Trail Description:
Many loops and short singletrack trails with tough technical sections, including interesting bridges, ledge steps and fantastic winding singletrack downhill. Great race in August, a 4 mile loop course.
How to get there:
89 North to exit 9, 24 miles to Newport, then North on route 10 to Newport High School. Trails start behind Running track.
89 south to Route 10. Look for Newport High School on Left (10 miles)

Is it possible to get from Newort to route 120 using the trails in Corbin Park? If so, which ones (my map shows Croydon County Road, Grantham Mtn Road and Cornish Tpke as going all the way through) and are they rough trails? I'm not a hard core mountain biker. Thanks.

Wow, this place keeps growing. Over ten miles of classic New England riding now and the race course covers 9 of 'em. The trail crew has added some sweet single track the last few years, keep it up guys.

There are new trails evolving each year on the Pinnacle and Coit mt. You can also spin the railroad bed from newport to add some miles to a webb's woods ride, aka harrding hill.
2 epic rides are out cornish turnpike then around corbin park back to town, 37-miles roughly). Also ride the cornish turnpike across rt. 120 to jackson road to the cornish town forest. Bike the 6(for now) color coded trails that nicely contour the natural terrain. Ride back via the "cat hole" road (claremont-north newport).

the pinnacle is just the beginning, check it on a regular basis, because new trails are evolving all the time. with the help of local riders trails utilize all that lives and breath in the lost nh woods. other goods in newport are the old cornish turnpike area near corbin park, pike hill road to the mica mine/candlers mill area. all the rides are old farm land claimed by the enchanted forest. bring dope, the bugs are hungery.
