If your idea of mtn. biking is blacktop, then THIS is your trail. Not knocking the BGT, but it doesn't belong on Dirtworld.com...seriously.

It's great that Seattle has this trail but this is dirtworld.com rather than pavedworld.com thanks god.

If this was a roadie site I would give it a 5.As an MTB trail it sux big time but I'll give it a 2 because I use it for commuting every day.

Sure, this is a paved trail but it really is the backbone to almost ALL of the city biking in the north end of Seattle. It is supposed to be expanded to Golden Gardens park within the next year or two so, you could go just about anywhere you'd like. Long or short ride, whatever you like, it's there for you. You can even use it to commute if it's anywhere between here and there. There SHOULD be more purposeful bike trails like it in such a bike friendly city as this. One can only hope. Maybe someday.....

This is a paved rail trail best used for training on a road bike. There are multiple entry points with different ride lengths (0-60+ miles) are available. Very busy on sunny weekends.
