Trail Description:
The white trail runs along the Wolf River, providing a great view as well as semi-technical riding. There are two other trails in the same general area, but they are supposed to be for hikers/runners only. 3 minutes away from the TourDeWolf.
How to get there:
Take Germantown parkwaytowards the Agricenter(youcan't miss thatplace), from the south,it is right before the Agricenter international with a posted sign, on the left. Park in a gravel driveway.

Another fun trail. These blue and white trails were the orginal Tour De Wolf race trails. They can be fast, but with some technical turns and crossings. There are also LOTS of side trails and switchbacks to explore. Be careful as they have limited mt biking to ONLY certain trails now. But its fun! Also, try and take the trail north between the Walnut Grove bridge all the way over to the Summer Avenue Bridge and beyond! It can be done!

Not bad. This is where I fall in love with mountain bking. it is good for beginners but gets bored, flat, and short very quickly.

ao is an imbecile. the wolf river trails are not all flat and boring. if he'd actually ridden some he'd know that there are numerous side trails that go down into the river bottoms and have plenty of obstacles to ride over. there may not be a a whole lot of climbing sections but seeing how memphis is on the edge of the gulf coastal plain, you aren't about to find a lot of 10,000 foot ascents. this trail has some technical sections if you know where to ride. there are also some really easy areas where you can just take it easy. Not a bad ride I suggest you just get lost on the side trails and see if you can't find one you like.

Well, at the risk of contradicting the informative commentary from "ao", I figured I'd give you a little more insight as to what this trail (Blue and White trails) has to offer. Yes, as has been stated before, it is pretty flat. It is primarily a rolling single track, technical to some degree. It winds in an "S" shape but allows you to gain some speed. There are quite a few roots and tech. crossings, 2-3 drops that are probably 15-20 ft down and back up, a couple of bridges and a few short steep climbs. Having only been in Memphis for a few weeks it was a new and fun place to ride. I can best describe it as being right in the middle of Stanky Creek and the Tour De Wolf, it has the best mixture of both tracks, plus it is all wooded as opposed to the TDW. Don't be afraid to give this one a shot, you might be surprised, it is a nice change of pace. If you take the road past the kite flying area at Shelby Farms you can ride over there giving you a good warm up or cool down fro
