Trail Description:
The Oxford Falls trails are awesome and very close to the Sydney CBD. There are some out and back trails and a cross country loop with lots of grippy slick rock. Nearly all single track with loose surfaces and narrow downhills. Lots of fun and can be part of a combined ride with the nearby Red Hill area for some downhill action
How to get there:
Located in the north of sydney close to the Narrabeen lakes park your car in Morgan Road near the top of the hill on the corner and look out for other bikers who will show you where the trails are alternatively go to www.bikeaddiction.com.au for a trail map
Additional Notes:
Great vibe freindly locals have fun and look out for walkers and horseriders

Oxford Falls is OK with mostly easy stuff and a cool DH run but Manly Dam and Red Hill are unreal - more variety from -easy, XC, DH, freeride. Detailed 2008 maps are in local bike shops showing the new tracks after the bushfire.

After travelling to Oxford falls at least once every month for 6 years, I have gained a liking for oxford falls. However Oxford falls is unique. It is a track that will challenge all sorts of riders, no matter what skill-level they are at. There are many opportunities to train your skills, whether it be jumping, technical or speed?
If you are thinking of going to Oxford falls for a nice, easy ride with minimal hills, think again! This could be named a track for experienced riders only. Especially if you are thinking of trying to tackle the hard and daunting downhill track which is located at the entrance to oxford falls fire trail.
In conclusion, Oxford falls trail would have to be my favourite trail in the whole of Sydney. Despite it's setbacks, like the hard and long up-hill section at the end, it offers a wide variety of tracks, challenging all sorts of riders. However, when comparing it to trails like Manly Dam, it might not offer as much technical riding or fast-paced

Love it! There's some top stuff here, particularly the XC Circuit and Little Moab.
This site has a nice write up:

The drop on the single track from the Lizard rock is pretty huge. I have taken a bunch of pics of the downhill track near the bottom. if someone wants to have a look they will be there for a little while, it is by no means comprhensive but it will give you the idea. On the big drop off's there is generally a way around for the novice riders anyway here is the link

The whole area is littered with trails form easy to insane. Try the drop from Lizard Rock (you will understand when you see it) and some of the ramps that have been built towards the bottom. If you can master that you are doing well, no matter how good you think you are.
