Trail Description:
In 1946 John Robert Little left 200 acres
of wooded land to the County of Wellington.
This land is called the Little Tract.
The tract is mostly wooded and is a maze of
intertwining trails. There are some good
climbs and drops. The initial trails are
about 7 feet wide and seem to have good
drainage. Once I have further explored
the various trails I will report further
on the approximate length of the trail etc..
The length is not posted.
How to get there:
Directions:
To locate the trail proceed north 1.9 kms
on Townline Rd. in Cambridge to Wellington
Rd. 34, turn right(east) and proceed 3.4 kms
to the entrance of the trail on the left.
A parking lot is a further .1 kms down the
road. This trail can also be accessed from
the Guelph side.

There are much better trails just 2 minutes away at
Puslinch. Go back west bound on regional rd 34 to
the first cross road and turn left (south). About 2-
3 km just over the 401 on the left is a small
parking lot. Over 20 km of fast as well as technical
xc riding.

There is more here then meets the eye and by looking for the trails less used you will find that there are roots and rocks and a jump or two. There is even a three foot drop to trany for the more skilled. STAY OFF THE DOUBLE TRACK and you will enjoy the ride.

Good trail for beginners or anyone that just wants to pin it through the woods and not have to worry about any roots or rocks. The only obstacles seem to be the huge water sink holes on some of the main double track on the lower end of the trail. Other than that, the trail seems to attract more dog walkers than bikers....hmm

It's a cool track, but a little too boring... there isn't a lot of technical spots. It's still worth taking a look, you just have to go fast enough to make it fun.
Oh and the entrance is not very obvious, so make sure you don't pass it. It's next to that 'horse farm' kindof thing sing, and there's a small brown sign that reads Little Tract, on the North side of the road. Have fun.

A good hour and a half of single track intertwining through rocky and rooty terrain. Some technical spots, even a ladder/bridge, and a couple of log piles last time I was out there.
