Trail Description:
This is an old series of trails that have been re-discovered. Much of the trail has been raked lately, though some still needs raking, yet it is still very ridable. This is fast and fun. Gently rolling. Narrow at times. Its a great place for those in Atlanta not wanting to drive to Gainesville after work. Take some time and watch for the trails that shoot off.

How to get there:
Take I-85 north out of Atlanta. Exit at 111, Hwy 317/ Lawrenceville-Suwanee road. Take a LEFT at the top of the exit ramp. Turn LEFT onto Satellite Blvd (third light after exiting 85). When you are on Satellite Blvd look right, you will see a building, a road then another empty industrial brick building (recently abandoned by Motorola), park in the Motorola parking lot. Ride across Satellite Blvd to the SysteMax/Global building, ride to the left of the building to the end of the parking lot, thru the grass into the back parking lot straight thru to the woods. The trailhead is on the far left end of the back of the Systemax lot.

Poorly marked trails overgrown with weeds. Loud construction going on nearby. Just a group of dead-end trails that don't loop around or lead anywhere. In a word - boring!

Yea the trail head is hard to find cause no one has used the trail in a long time. it is in the far left corner of the back parking lot. Its right infront of the 4th parking spot from the left. its hard to see as it is kind of grown over, but if you look hard enough you will see it. As far as the bums and hunters, i have never come across any. Great trail though.

Went there today 10/2/05. I saw no entrance to a trail of any kind. I went all up and down the perimeter of the Systemax rear parking lot. No trail entrance was apparent.

Be careful in this area. I would recommend riding with a friend. We came across a poacher who just killed a deer, and there are also a couple of homeless guys who look pretty rough living out of a tent there. If you want no other riders that would be the place to go though, cause there is no one else riding there. If developed a little it would be a great ride.
