I just ran this course this morning. I am a newbie but found the trail very exciting. The terrain was exceptional. There are parts that I am not ready for yet. At one point I had a tag-along on my handlebars. I decided to call him Beezlebub In Green, or BIG for short. BIG rode with me for several miles, didn't talk much and basically had a good time. At mile 5 we decided to part ways, but not before he thoroughly caked my handlebars with his special "thread" (and my 5th nervous breakdown) BIG made the ride enjoyable and promises to write. Great trail. Has a good elevation change. Take the trail head to the left (clock-wise). Has some good downhill, not too harsh up-hill. Good scenery and can be a good workout. Would be an easy trail to take a newbie on to get them into how cool singletrack can be. Would be a good one to run a couple times, but after doing Steven's Creek, only ran this one once.
