this trail is great. the climb is semi challenging but the downhill is awesome!! there are many short cuts you can take if you only want to do one of the up/down hill. i like the seconde one better.

If you want to get to Blue Ribbon you have to go to the back of Castlewood and ride thru the open field thru the woods thru the washout area and then stay left go under the railroad thru the washout tunnel and enjoy. This trail is not officially part of Castlewood, but public access is allowed.

Blue Ribbon is a popular name for this
mildly difficult trail (which my 11 year old
nephew rides) which is properly known as
the Cedar Bluff Trail (which is only 2 miles
according to SP trail marker) at Castlewood
STate Park.

This isn't called Blue Ribbon. It is Castlewood State Park. This is already listed. This one should be delected as redundant.

I havent been on many trails, but of what I have been on, I think this is the best.I only gave it 4 stars 'cuz there might be a better one out there that I havent been to yet. I've been here so many times I could almost ride it blindfolded. I'd recomend it, and do recomend it to anyone lookin' for a nice ride(just dont forget water).

Some short steep climbs lead to some pretty long and fun downhills. From I-270 take Big Bend west to Reis Rd. and follow the sign to Castlewood State Park. These trails get good use and are pretty well mantained.
