Trail seems like a series of loops, but its actually a small loop that leads to an "out and back" called the 1-9R. To get to this trail, park at start of the fire road(90 degree turn and parking lot straight ahead.) Follow the fire road up a small hill, and you'll go about 100m down a small hill. On the left will be fenceline trail. Follow this trail and dont get off on any of the little side trails.(one tricky part, the fenceline takes a sharp left and the fenceline trail follows it.) Stay with the fenceline the whole time and you can't go wrong. Towards the end of this trail you will come to the fenceline with a gap and you want to cross through that to stay on the trail. You'll ride on that part for about 2 minutes before hitting the "lost and found" box(small standing open top box on the middle of the trail). If you're looking at the box, at the 8 O'clock you will see the 1-9r. Follow the 1-9r to still house lake. The trail is pretty easy to follow un

Dana Peak offers a little bit for everyone. If you want to chill out on some single track that weaves through the woods then you can do that. If you want to do some climbing with your bike then you have the opportunity to do that. The scenery is beautiful with Stillhouse Hollow Lake and all of the hills in the area.

Update on Dana Peak, Trails are a bit revised due to flooding from a few yrs back, but in good shape, reubuilding and construction down by the lake is going on, there may be a fee to enter (2.00) maybe, fenceline is worst area after rain. equines are present on weekends, voices carry so you can hear em prior, stay away from lake, better than BLORA as far as overall riding goes. Helmet, gloves and camelbak are good to have, flats are common, bring tubes, if beginner go slow and try to ride with someone. Ride to stone bench is 6 miles out, not for beginners out there, but fun if ya stick with the flat stuff and wooded areas.

I talked to the Army Corp of Engineers local office at Stillhouse and Dana Peak is off limits as in NO TRESSPASSING until summer 2009 when repairs will start. Fines if you trespass the signs!!!

This park is closed for a while, I drove out there today and found out the flooding from last year caused a lot of damage.

Being my first trail, I enjoyed this one a lot. its a small ride to the main spot and once your there you can choose to go several paths. there is some fun little hills and then you start going down a thin path downhill. very fun.

One large hill makes for some good downhill action. As long as you stay on the trails it would be rated low to moderate difficulty. If you leave the trail to drop down to a lower trail you can get some short challenging lines.
