Beautiful location! there are a couple more long trails than stated, wild coyotes are often seen walking around. I love this trail I do it 2 to 3 times a week. there are trails with long inclines so I would consider this to be a beginner/intermediate location.
If you want a real treat come during Spring time the greenery is amazing!

There is more to this location than just Sylvan Meadows Rd which is a big fire road loop around the meadow. I'd recommend exploring a little and you will add a bunch of distance and some very fun singletrack to the ride. Take the Tovashal Trail turnoff for singletrack. Also, I can't remember the name of the trail, but there is a fun out and back single track off of the main road to the left. I ride here a lot and it is always a good workout and never crowded on weekdays.

I just did this ride this past Saturday. We had a great time with some friends and my brother. Would recommend for the beginner. You can also start this one from a path right across the street from the visitor center.
