This Trail initially was a broken walking path. The Fort Sask Mountian Bike Club took the bull by the horns and turned this into endurance challange of technical riding. From rollercoaster sections, tight squeezes, root gardens to goat trails with 25 ft drops into the river.(Durring high water times alternative traverses are part of ride)There are many other trails but the riverside is a great challange.

How to get there:
Fort Saskatchewan is 15 min. north east of Edmonton on either hwy 21 or hwy 15.

Drop in by the tennis courts where the paved bike path starts from River Road (101 st). New bridge work at the south loop seemed to appear weekly last fall - lots of trail maintenance and feature builds. Watch out for beaver crossing the trail in the evenings or on night rides.

GREAT local trail...good for intermediate riders! Fantastic views of the river and an excellent place to ride on a windy day - because you're fairly sheltered. You won't want to be clipped in before hitting this trail...we don't want you falling into the river ;)
