I attempted to ride this trail today, it is overgrown, and many parts of the trail have slid into the river I went about 600m from the launch and then turned back the trail was un-rideable at any skill level

~ 8 km one way, being maintained semi regularly now with some new trail and technical stuff being slowly added. Use bells to avoid any head on's in some of the narrow meandering parts. Beware of the beaver, deer, raccoons and coyotes.

the trail has been maintained recently and the boat launch loop has been extended. If you start at turner park and continue west to include the boat launch trail you can ride easily for 1hour or more depending on your skill level.

Contunied for eailer post, I was cut off
At the boat Launch in West park, at the south-west of the city there are two trails. Looking at the river the one on your left in about an hour long loop trail with some technichle stuff and some steep drops, and on the right the is a trail system that follows teh river to turner park to the first trail I mentioned (the trail system ends for a bit at one point just ride the bike path and one the right side there is a lookout and an entrance to a trail.) the trails along the river I think are teh hardest in the fort. If there are trials I left out or I have poor directions post it. supersharkboy@hotmail.com

There are alot of trails in and around Turner park. These are good for getting skill, with lots of techinical stuff and logs, but no jumps, nothing you'd see on Drop in. There is a good warm up trail the starts at west side of turner park (assuming the river is strait north), where the paved path starts below the road up to the city, its off in the bush, then by a newly constructed boat launch at the bottom there is a harder trail (lasttime I was there is was overgrown) that has lots up stepp dips and rises goes across some rocks at one point, then if you go to Ross Creak (between the city an industrail area) there are trails in there, but some aren't maintained anymore, some start and end by the bridge that goes over the creek. Also there are trails along the road at the bottom of turner park, that leads into the industrial area (keep an eye out for paths starting), and at the boat by West Park (newer side of the city, first part you see if you come in from sherwoodpark) on th

If you think this is a death trail, you shoudn't be riding single-track. This is my warm up for the the other trails in the Fort. Try riding west for another 45 min. and see what I mean.
