Trail Description:
This trail is an excellent summer or fall trail. It rides in the bottom of the canyon through pine trees and then goes through a series of swithbacks to the top of a ridge where you can get a great view of Logan Canyon, Tonys Grove, Beaver Mountain Ski Resort and Franklin Basin.

How to get there:
Travel to the turnoff to Beaver Mountain off of I89 at the Beaver Mountain turn of sign Park and ride 50 or so feet south of the3 sign to the trailhead.

This trail is listed as "Stump Hollow" trail in some guide books. This is a fun ride with really breathtaking views from the ridge. It is generally not very steep, but is consistantly uphill on the way in, that of course means consistantly downhill on the way out. :-) It is more like eight miles in and back rather than five.
