Trail Description:
Good windy and narrow single track on the blue, red and white trails. Lots of fire roads that twist and turn throughout the forest. Some are sandy, so beware. Some of the nastier downhills require a bit of hike-a-bike to get to. As you get deeper into the forest it seems like you are climbing a lot more than anything else. A fun ride anyway you slice it. Explore a bit and you should be rewarded.

How to get there:
I-84(E or W) to exit 38 (route 4/Farmington). Take route 4 West to 179 North. Route 4 will run right into 179. Continue on 179 until you hit the junction for route 202. TAke a left onto route 202 and the entrance for the state park is a couple miles down the road on your right. Pull into the dirt road and park in the open spaces between the trees.

i think this is the best biking in Connecticut, it is very tight and techincal which is very fun and enjoyable, the freestyle there is also very excelent

Ridiculous fun here. Hairy technical sections, twisty climbs, rock gardens at the top of hills, etc. The dirt(sand) roads are more for cars, and besides, the singletrack is where is at. Easy to get lost in, but that's the point.

Rock Jumps; wide dirt roads; narrow and technical trails; great views; find the white blaze "obstacle course" in the middle of the park. There is a can of death there for those who dare. Super hard adn supere fun.
