Trail Description:
A long steep climb will take you to the summit towers and the start of the single/dual track downhill. Of the approx. 6 mile climb, the toughest lies on mile 3 but the dirt road up is smooth and the views grow with elevation. Once at the top you'll find a "substation thing" to your left. Ride counter clockwise around this and you'll find the single track start down. It's a pretty obvious follow down the ridge, killer views. Watch closely , though, as at one point, at an obvious saddle you dip into, the trail seems to disappear, but actually hits a hard left onto the north face (Chelan side) in the opposite direction. Now starts some real joy of single track. Descend your elevation gain to the paved streets and back to your rig for the loop.

How to get there:
Park on the south side of Lake Chelan at the base of Chelan Butte Road. Pretty clear. Ride up Chelan Butte Road, ignoring any spurs on the way to the top. Starts paved, ends dirt.

Additional Notes:
Sure, the upper track needs work, but even the locals don't seem to know this gem much.

I sugest that you get a shuttle because it is a fun DH ride, and you'll want to do it again
