Trail Description:
Nature trail, infrequently used with scenic views of Lake, open grassy areas, and dense woodland.

How to get there:
South of Durant on 69/75 to mile past Calera. Turn West (right) towards Platter. Just across train tracks turn North (right), take next left follow signs to trail.

Additional Notes:
Family oriented, beginners. There is tent camping areas at both ends. Nice weekend fun trip.

These trails were established in 1991 by the Corp. of Engineers. They are multipurpose trails for both equestrian and hikers.

This trail is now for equestrian use only. We hauled our dirt bikes all over creation trying to find this and discovered it was changed to equestrian about 4 years ago!
