great trails...lots of fun. I did of course have a close call with a black bear - - he was very polite and does not have access to the internet so I won't talk bad about him. Keep your head up.

Good workout, but neither the Stinky Creek trail nor the Carbo are well marked. Very easy to get caught into a loop, switching from trail to trail. It sure is a nice switch from the asphalt.

Timberlake was beautiful and worth the trip. At first, tough to find entrance. Small sign of Lewis Turner Blvd marked Timberlake Trail Entrance. Carbo trail was the best. Twisting and turning and continual descend and ascending turns. I rated excellent for scenery and length. Not for technical riders.

The cost is $12 now for a recreation pass from Jackson Guard Sation in Niceville. I have never ridden these trails but have run on them. A great place to get awaay from the streets. Would like to organize an ultra marathon out there. get a four mile loop and run it 8 times.

l have to say I've become a better rider riding on Timberlake trails. The first reason is the Single track is tighter. I've learned to handle my bike better because of the trees. The second is the sand believe it as must as everybody hates it. I've develp the skill to ride difficult train. When I go to trails in other places thats not sandy I' m able to fly through it with conference. To stick on my lines without losing momentum. We have on one four miles section called carbo with mustly small power climbs , they will get you fit. So before you ripe on our trails as if we have anything esle to ride. Try to enjoy what we have you might be suprized. Beware of snakes , bears or anything esle that moves . Have fun thats what its all about anyway .

Its all we have around here. The closest thing is 50 miles away. I've riden all over the U.S. and there alot better places to ride if we were able to get there but we don't. Enjoy what we have and ride. You still can get alot out it.

The only and best trails within 40 miles. We're fortunate to be able to ride here, and appreciate Eglin making it legitimate. Wear a helmet, have your permit, don't litter and have fun.

Been riding this trail system for 2 years now and have been very satisfied. (With the exeption of the bannana spiders that seem to always build their webs accross the trail.) Overall a descent set of trails that offers a good bit of variety. Considering the total lack of elevation in florida, these trails are very respectable.
