How to get there:
Take rt 3 west from Fredburg to Hollywood Farms Rd (just before King George line) on left. Approx. 2 miles to dirt road on right just after rail road tracks.

Additional Notes:
pretty technical and twisty trail. they often have races there

Great trails. Gate was open 10/8/07. They are out of trail maps so I didn't ride everywhere but some great terrain. I will be going back for sure.

This site is EAST, not west of fredricksburg. Take rte. 3 from I-95 about 10 miles east, or about 7 to 8 miles east of downtown fredricksburg, and the rest of the directions are correct. It is gravel road just yards beyond the railroad track. Looks like a farm road. Take it on back to a trail sign area. This trail is a shady, narrow, interesting trail sometimes hardly wider than your handebars, with lots of roots, interesting creek views, and a few manmade surpises. Fun!

I went there and the trail was closed about a mile in since some guy was building a house back in the woods. This was my first time there so there might have been a work around but I didn't see it.

This trail is great. The directions posted by "Will Wilcox" are correct. I have yet to see the gate closed but I have recently heard of property disputes. The correct name is Lodi Farm but it is on Hollywood Farms road. This trail is great for beginers even though "Bond, James Bond" doesn't think so. There are logs to cross but beginners can get off the bike easily to get over the log. There are multiple trails to choose from and the F.O.R.D. event organizer estimates 9 miles of trails. The Fredericksburg Offroad Duathalon has recently changed courses go to http://www.zekiah.com/ford/eng/default.asp for more information. Go check out this trail and email me at aspenbdr360@gmail.com or contact the owner of the F.O.R.D.

This is a really great trail for an after work ride or on the weekend. They also have races there from time to time. There is a small box for donations toward the hard work on up keep.

This was my very first trail riding experience and I absolutely loved it! Entering the trails you descend on a 30 ft hill that's pretty steep. At least for me. This is definitely not for beginners though. A lot of logs to jump over, couple bridges to cross and just a lot of great riding. I could go on and on but go there and you'll see what I mean.

The trail was really cool and the directions are wrong. Go Rt. 3 East from Fredericksburg, turn left on Hollywood Farms rd. Go over the train tracks, right after tracks, turn right on dirt road. Go up dirt road and you will see a sign with a trail description. Trail is behind the sign. Very cool trail, had some cool bridges that take you over water. Good single track. Went there to test my clipless pedals which I have never used before and it was deadly but lots of fun. Good climbs, good down hill, roots, jumps, logs and the trails are reasonably marked. Also check out Fountain Head park.

Your directions are wrong, it is route 3 east not west.
