Stopped here because it was not far off I-65 and I was on a long road trip and wanted a good ride to break it up. So glad I found this place! Owner is a super nice guy and after talking shop for a while, showed me on the map the best route to take. Challenging ride but not so difficult that I had to stop. He owns a few dogs and they actually showed me the way for the first half mile or so until they scattered off chasing a deer. $3 for the ride, or $5 if you want to shower afterwards, which I did. Highly recommend making the trip. Wish I had a few friends with me so we could have played on the paintball course he has right next to the start...looks like a lot of fun!

Great trails for intermediate to advanced riders. Lots of different terrain including riding in a creek bed. Over all, the place was great riding!

I've ridden Nebo, Brown County Park, and Knawbone Camp. Valley branch is by far the better ride. It has everything: bombing downhill doubletrack (lake ridge, sunset), bombing downhill singletrack (viper, chris's crevice, and indian camp), rolling single track (roller coaster), technical single track (gary's gulley, wildcat, flying flynn), and challenging climbs (around the pond, bottom of viper, turkey run). I ride it every weekend if possible. Come check it out!

I rode this trail in October and found it to be a non-stop, Southern Indiana technical assault with some climbs that completely cleaned out my carburetor, so to speak. Gary, the proprietor was excellent as the host of this quirky paintball-bunk house-mountain bike-compound. I stayed mostly on the blue trail which included some black diamond tracks as well. The trails are not overly traveled so there is almost no wash out/loose soil. Mature forest and beautiful valleys make for a good wilderness experience. The trail gets a little monotonous, for my tastes, only because of its relentless technical climbs and maneuvering, but it was my first visit and I bet I could find a way to customize the trail options (and there are many!) to make a ride which suits me. The trail is well marked and the map accurate. There is also an optional honor system, self register/pay if the owners are not available when you arrive.

This park has my vote for best MTB park in Indiana! The trails are well maintained and have something for just about every skill level. I have been several times and never seen another biker. Pay attention to the inclines marked on the map that is provided, there are some hills that you just don't want to go up, but they make awesome down-hills. You have to watch carefully for the road that leads back to the park, the sign is hard to see and it just looks like a little country road. It's on your left when coming from 65 just after a Flea Market. Enjoy, but take care of it. It's privately owned so don't make the owner regret letting us ride!

Unbelievable for Indiana! Had a great set of 2 hour rides and only rode a 10th of the trails available. Long tough uphills and blasting downhills!

A little hard to find, but worth the search (we missed the turn off the first time around.) If you ride it right, you'll definitely need the shower afterwards!
