Trail Description:
This ride is a fast trail with lots of roots and small climbs to keep you smiling. Mid way through trail their is a section of jumps and even a small downhill course with banked corners , their is some sand on the track but not bad for Eastern NC.

How to get there:
In Fayetteville at the intersection of Morganton and Rielly rd. head South on Morganton untill the road dead ends. Park here.

At the dead end the road turns into sand. Follow this road to a burned out bridge, cross the bridge and take the first gravel road to the right, look for the trail about a 1/4 mi down the road. you can go either left or right.

I work for Installation Commander Col Sanborn; the only legal trails on FB is "Smith Lake Trails & All American Trail". The Chicken Rd site that ppl are using has Federal Endanger Plants in them and yellow signs mark the area. When caught, it is a felony trespassing. Loggers have been in the area lately. The powers came to me today about this and I want to warn ppl who want to do the right thing! The person building bridges is stealing fence slats from local housing areas. Don't give MTB a BAD NAME!

It is legal to ride because it is part of the bragg recreation center. You pay $5.00 a ride or $20.00 for the year. It is a good trail for kids and beginners, but is full of roots and deep sand.

This track has improved alot since the last posts. Also, its not illegal to ride...you simply have to pay $20 for a year. It still doesn't have any climbs...but its the sandhills of NC...not alot of climbs anywhere..but its a decent ride.

DON'T RIDE HERE! I went to a local bike store in Fayetteville and they said it's illegal to ride and they will fine you heavily and confiscate your bike...so yea..it's a waste of time

Flat, short, and nothing technical to speak of. Some man-made log jumps but that's about it. If you need to relax and get some boring ride-time, check it out. Otherwise head west to Asheville.
