Trail Description:
Albion is a little gem just north of Toronto (about 45 min from downtown). Host of the Summer Solstice 24 hour race for the past few years. An excellent trail system for all levels. Essentially it's a couple of fire road loops with all kinds of single track that weave their way in and out. All trails are well marked. Some great vistas of the surrounding countryside, and nudged up beside the Humber river.

How to get there:
Take Hwy 427 to Hwy 7, west on 7 to Hwy 50, North on Hwy 50 through Bolton. Albion Hills Conservation Area is on your left just after you pass over the Humber river

Additional Notes:
Camping on site. Lake and beach also on the grounds for a quick dip before heading back to the city.

Just rode this trail for the first time. Very fast and flowing singletrack. Great for XC riders with no sections that are unridable. Plenty of grip and rip downhills and some steep climbs. Overall fast flowing ride throughout all sections. Very nice scenery, park is clean and people there are very friendly. Trail markings could be better. After riding past S6 riders may have a hard time finding the proper way to S7. Trail maps/markings should be more clear. Overall one of my favourites to ride. I rank it higher than Kelso.

The first time i rode at albion was for a 24 hr race about 3 years ago when i was 14. They are really awesome because you can control the difficultly depending on your speed. I have really grown as a rider but the trail still give me a good challenge. Perfect ballance of technical, double track, up hills and fast desents. So yeah! for albion forrest :)

Gorgeous trails, but the lake is a disgusting duck's toilet - use the showers instead.

The Black single-track loop (for more advanced riders) has a good mix of terrain- ups, downs, tight twisty, some rocks and roots, and flat speed sections. New "enduro" section of the Black trail now makes for a good 2-hr ride. Intermediate and beginner riders will enjoy the well laid-out Blue and Red trails. Take a swim in the local lake when finished.

Just finished this trail for the fist time. I will definetly be going back for a few more rounds. A little confusing at first then once you figure out the signs you are good to go. Eventually I will be in better shape and will be able to finsih the whole trail but after completing 3/4 I was wiped of hill climbs, twists and turns I had to call it a day. The cost to get in is $4.25 each but it is worth admission for sure.

My boyfriend and I having been riding here all summer and haven't gotten bored of the trails yet. I enjoy the challenging black single track. It has some challenging sections but nothing too tough. Riders of all levels will enjoy the well marked and groomed trails. There's onsite parking, camping, picnic areas and a beach to plan a day or weekend excursion.

I'm 8 years old and I went with my Dad on the Blue and Red and I think this place is soooo radical, and it rocks!!

Other than the lack of long climbs, this place rocks!!! I usually do 2 laps of the black, and it takes about 2h45. Some sweeeeet fast sections, bigring singletrack, tight technical spots and varying forest density. I absolutely love this place.
