Start at Rocky Point and make sure you grab a map... great views, lots of variety, dries pretty quickly after a rain.

best place ive been so far. because if you take the fire trail on left to the black diamond entrance, the entire route is mostly downhill, but twisting turning trails. very challenging butin a fun way(unlike round valley). trails are well maintained and ridin often. there are maps in the beginning so you can choose how far and how hard you want to go, something for everyone. and if your good you can really fly threw the trails and give that suspension a work out!

I ride clayton all the time. This is like going from t-ball to the majors in the same day. , giant rocks, roots, and logs every where and in combo of one another. ride to the river and the army batteries. bring your "A" game or stay home.....

This is it, everything from one mountain. You got dualtrack fire road, tight winding singltrack, fast long root runs, log jumps, couple of nice spots to huck yourself, sic wall thats seperated.. oh! did I mention there's water on each side. And one side drops about 5ft. That's not all! this place has a beach! and a summit that is worth every bit of the climb; truly an awesome view. Last weekend I watched a fighter jet go supersonic from the summit. On second thought, don't go leave it all for ME!

Well seeing as no one has posted on this before I guess I will start out good. I have only ridden three different parks in Jersey and this was by far the best one. The others just didnt own up. I thought sinece Hartshorne was where i got started Mtbkn that maybe I just felt loyal to my roots but aafter reading trail guides and reviews I realize this is one of the best places around. i reccoment it for anyone of any skill level. The rangers get kind-of annoying blocking off trails that become really technical and destrying jumps but there are still good spots to jump or just ride. You dont have to worry much about walkers/runners, they tend to stick to the wide Cuesta Ridge or the paved trails and I have never seen one horse up there. In conclusion I strongly reccomend coming here just dont screw around too much becuse people tend to get a little territorial.
