Trail Description:
New trail area in east Georgia near Lake Oconee out I-20 in Union Point GA. Durhamtown Sportsman's Resort has approximately 7,000 acres of property with 100 miles of different trails, over half of which are one-way trails varying from smooth, two-lane sections to tight single-track with river bottoms, creek crossings, hills, fun decents.
There is no other place like this in the area.
How to get there:
Located in Walton county approximately 40 miles east of Atlanta. From Atlanta take I-85 north to 316 east. Travel to Highway 11 and turn right. Drive approximately 10 miles and turn right onto Friendship Church Road. Turn right on Roscoe Davis Rd. The track is a few miles down on the left (parking area on right).
Additional Notes:
Awesome place. You have to see it to believe it.

I gave this a rating of one because this
is NOT a mountain bike trail and the
directions are wrong. Go to the
Durhamtown resort website. If you are in
to motorsports this is definitely a
can't miss. The owners were cool enough
to let me take my bike out on the dirt
bike trails that weren't being used.
Pretty cool but not designed for bikes.
Once again I would give this a five if
it was based on ATVs.

Well not sure about the mountain biking here, but we had a men's group from church who wanted to get "wild" so we all came down and rented their 250cc's and went wild. we had a blast. most of us could barely walk the next day and some were a little more damaged than others. this place is heaven for the adventure minded person. we rode motorcycles, shot shotguns and pistols, fished and used their cabins. bring your wallet and a cooler full of snacks and drinks cuz their is nothing around but their snack bar and it is in a hot humid part of the world! bring your wallet! and your insurance card!

The motorcycle course is now named Cycle World, and it's definitely located there (off of Friendship Church Road.) It's possible that MTB trails used to be there, but some developer bought up a bunch of land and marked it all "no trespassing" to keep the locals out. We were very disappointed. The owher of Cycle World let us park there while we biked the roads instead.
