Trail Description:
Many selections for trails. Sometimes it gets really easy. Sometimes it is difficult.

How to get there:
In London, go Commissioners East all the way to Chelton drive(at Summerside) (only a right turn). On the left side of the road there is an opening with flattened grass and dirt. You are at the start of the trail.

I tried and tried to locate this trail and, in the process, ran into the maintenance guy from the Easter Seals camp. It is illegal to go on these trails as it is private property! There have been charges laid against mountain bikers for being on these trails. All of the trails that were constructed have been torn down. You can try to ride it if you like (if you can find it), but Fanshawe Lake trail is the best in London. Don't give MTBers a bad name.

The West side of this trail is actually the Meadowlily ESA (environmentally significant area). Bikes aren't permitted on these trails, but the Conservation Authority doesn't patrol them -- be courteous to hikers and you won't have a problem. Biking is allowed on the East side of this trial. There is a dividing path with concrete stones that separates the two sides. The West side has some freeride areas as well. Use caution as they have been through many cycles of maintenance and neglect over the years. The trail entrance is off Meadowlily Rd South. There are many joining paths and about three connecting loops for a total of about 6-7 km of trail. Enjoy.

Hey there, this trail is not monitored that I know of....there are signs to say thats its for hiking only but aren't those signs everywhere a trail is? Get out there and ride these trails as they are the best that we here in L.O.C have to offer. You never know you may see me out there as I ride them almost daily with or without others Live to ride, ride to live

I want to ride it, however, on different websites they say different things! Is it open to bikes or not, and if not how much do they patrol it?

This trail is officially closed to mountain bike access. Those owners of the Easter Seals camp at the far end are now pressing charges for trespassing, and the part of the trail off of Oxford is being patrolled by UTRCA staff.

All the trails out and around this area are alive and kickin. Don't let anyone tell you different for the ones that say they aren't there are prob still sitting on their couch. I've been there more than a few times with other riders and we all agree this spot is fun as hell. Hope to see more mountain bikers out as the weather warms up. The trails are in great condition but a lil muddy still even with the better weather as of late. Live to ride

Couldn't wait for it to get any warmer out so I set out to find this so called Summerside. After what seemed like the longest journey of our lives we got out there and just as stated it was just to the left of Summerside. To many sick trails to mention just one. What a great ride even with all the mud. Took me an hour to clean off my bike afterwards but we all had a blast. See you out there,

Kains is still there. There is a trail along the river all the way to Fanshawe Park. Fanshawe trails are lame in summer too many people, no good riders. Boler costs money, preps ride there.
