Sun Peaks

Trail Description:
Sun Peaks is the best bike park in British Columbia next to Fernie in my opinion. The free riding wonders of Sugar and sweet one to the wind burning speed on Hi octane, Barn Burner and Homerun, to the supersteeps on Smitties steeps and insanity one. For the quick thrills of Arm Pump, Zazel track and Great scoot, to the air of the dual slalom. This Park has it all in over a thousand vertical feet. Not recommened for the first time begginer, stongly suggested for all you testosterone engorgeded adrenalin addicts. Have fun at Sunpeaks!

How to get there:
From Kamloops, get on the highway going towards Jasper, on your way out you will notice a husky gas station on the corner. If this is so you are on the right track. DO NOT TURN! Go Straight, following the tompson river. After about 15 minutes out of Kamloops you will see the turnoff for heffly creek. TURN OFF! Go up through the valley. On your way up you will notice White Croft. There is a big sign there advertising Powder hounds. You are going the right way if you see this. Stick to the main road. It will be paved the whole way. You will know you are there when you pass by the burfield quad to your left. There is a Sunpeaks information center here. Go here to find your accomadation.
