Trail Description:
Well, i wouldn't quite call it a maschist trail, but considering some of the others in here being given high rates of difficulty, i guess in comparason its a masochist trail. From the top it starts as a kind of steep, DH type course with berms and a foot wide bridge. Then continues into a farily flat, laxed turns, let your brakes go kind of thing. Half way down you will come to a fork, they both end up in the same place eventually, so chose the one you think is right for you. On one sid ewill be the freeride couse, on the other the DH course, if you want speed, berms some small drops and fluid lines take the DH trail. If you want log shoots, big drops, tight corners and skinny bridges, take the free ride trail. For both trails i recommend some armour and of course a helmet. For the freeride course a dual suspension bike is recommended.
How to get there:
If you can find the whitemud creek community center, the one with the wading pool, you are on the right track. Get out of your car here. Across the street is a small ravine, if you need to get warmed up go down the dip a couple times. Follow the sidewalk trail on the right hand side which goes in between some houses and the ravine. Take this trail. After you've gone down it aways you will see a place where the old trail had washed out, with the sidewalk takin a sharp turn to you're right. Take the turn, but once past the small clump of trees, turn left again 90 degrees. After a couple strokes of your pedals you will notice a not very well beaten trail to your left which will lead you into the washout. This is where to go. This is the top of the trail. From there on in the trail is a lot more beaten so don't worry about getting lost in the middle of the bush.
