There is a club called Phats In The Cats that maintain the XC trails they ride up there every tuesday at 5:00. If yuo would like more information then go to Kingston Cyclery for trails maps and detailed instruction on how to get there

How to get there:
If you were to start from the trafic circle right of the New York State Thruway off exit 19 you would get on on to R28 north and go about 1/4 mile till you get to R209 south and you will then go about 2 miles ont that road till you get to Sawkill road you will follow Sawkill road till you get to Heritage Energy and just drive into the back of the Heritage Energy and just park your car there. The people in Heritage Energy are very nice they dont mind what you do as long as you dont disturb them in thier work.

Basically it starts off going uphill in the woods. Then you reach a mountainous trail that is essentially an electric power line trail so that service vehicles can reach. Its a lot of hills, going down is fun over the rocks, but coming back up is a real trek.
