Trail Description:
For a fairly small area, the park offers a lot of variety. The half pipe ('spin cycle') is an absolute blast, and there are several great tight switchbacks, rock gardens and fast sections. The double rock is a trip - you won't have a problem finding bike parts laying around it!

How to get there:
Take Chippenham Pkwy (150) to

Chippenham Hospital on Jahnke Road.

Before the hospital and across the road is the entrance to the park.

Lots of people mistake it for the ramp to Chippenham off Jahnke Road.

There is a cul-de-sac. Park and drop in either to the back left or back right.

Great after work ride. Lots of fun trails in a small area. Props to Richmond M.O.R.E. for all the work they've put into the trails recently. Just one question- Why'd you have to take out the teeter-totter?

Great trail-maintenance has picked up in the last year thanks to locals. Lots of technical singletrack with some fast sections. Takes a while to learn all of the off-shoots but well worth it!

Apparently Mott is a Westender ;) The area is not that bad...it's not Creighton Park although I don't doubt it is a good place to score something illegal after dark. Otherwise, nice single track throughout, crazy drop in to get you started and the halfpipe is good fun. A lot of trail in a small place. And conveniently located near a hospital...what more can you ask for?

Trail is still there..Good single track with some steeps--Half pipes are a blast and good mix of climbs & descents--Lots of offshoots but didn't have the balls or bodyparts to devote to the double rock drop(LOL)..A good ride and fairly well maintained.

Smokin' crack ? Other than a condom in the parking lot - trails are exactly as described.

The park exists but the trail does not exist any longer. Plus it is in a bad area. There was a couple of crack addicts in the park.

This trail is no joke... a lot shorter than, but very similar to Poor Farm Park... lots of roots and rocks... technical singletrack that keeps you rolling... good work out with a few good climbs... lots of fun!

Nice workout! Not much land but you'll be surprised how many trails they've crammed into here and you'll actually have a hard time finding your way around. Most technical trails in Richmond. Lots of hard log crossing. The gauntlet is a blast and one trail for expert bikers goes off two consecutive rock dropoffs then you cross onto a downed tree and they've laid a log down at the end that you ride about 6 feet back down to the ground. Be careful my buddy had a pretty good accident on this. Good areobic workout with most trails going up or down the hillside. Trails are maintained and kept in good shape.
