Trail Description:
Rocky singletrack, short steep climbs, one 1.25 mile @ 30% grade climb, four river crossings (rushing water in Spring). In addition, some serious mud when wet.

How to get there:
Take exit 167 off I-40 to FSR 141, then right on FSR 109 to Sycamore Canyon parking ~ 1 mile past Pomeroy Tanks parking.

Additional Notes:
3 out of 5 rides, something breaks off on your bike.

This is a trail that deserves respect. It is one of the hardest rides I've attepted. It takes technical skills that are honed to perfection and all the trail is ridable including the steep 1.25 mile section. Don't attept in the wet seasons. In addition, bicycle repair is sometimes required after - I only bring a spare tube.
