this is a beautifully maintained trail and is great for riding if you just want to enjoy the scenery or want to take your kids on a safe ride.
friends told me about this trail so i decided to ride it - five miles into it i ended up moving off the trail and unto the street instead - too boring.
the cinder that covers the trail makes it a great aerobic and leg workout but it doesn't offer any rewards like up/down hills or rock gardens for all your hard work - if you like any of that stuff this is not the trail you will want to ride - try yankee springs in wayland or fort custer in battle creek instead.
