Just a heads up - Capital Forest is my home turf. If you're considering any rides out there - particularly epic ones - check the website for any washouts, trail closures etc. Also, be prepared for lower temperatures, bring plenty of food, water, a map and perhaps a cell phone in case you get lost or hurt. Warnings aside, this is an awesome place to ride - i ride there about once a week. Check out the site capitalforest.com. Have fun!

This is a great trail. You can choose your distance, long or short. Watch for the horse droppings though.

This is a fun ride. We road another big one on October 2 2004. The route this year was new. Check out the details in the ride guide on www.capitolforest.com. The Capitol Forest EZ75.

What sane person would do a 60 mile mountain bike ride? These are fun trails but limit them to 15-20 miles max. Don't kill youself on this ride. Shorten it up and have fun!

We rode it again this October 26, 2003. We started at 7:30AM and finished at 7:00PM. This year's route had some variations to last year's. Total distance was 63 miles, with 7,700' of climbing total. It kicked butt. Austin, Jim, Jim, Todd, Chris, Chris, Peter and Loren this year. We'll do it again next fall to. If you want info or want to come next year, my email is proski75@hotmail.com. Ride on. -Jim
