i ride this trail all the time - there's a new section
that brings the total up to about 45 miles. trails are
maintained by locals and well marked. there are 4
numbered trails that loop off one another and
interconnect. it's a lot of single track w/ a bit of
pavement to get from one area to the next. lot of
fun. the best place to get onto the trail is to head
back behind the us military high school in
brunssum and then back behind some soccer fields
located right nearby. there's a small parking lot and
in the back corner of the lot you can ride a super
short trail along a fence there and pop up on the #1
trail, or you can ride onto a short dirt road that will
take you there, but you'll need to find the signs (a
triangle with two circles underneath it) and follow
them. this is a really great cross country/single
track system - nothing too crazy, but you can still
find ways to hurt yourself.
