Really nice trail, with reeeaal! big jumps!

(double with about 4 meters between...)

also smooth jumps for warm up, relaxing or for "Newbies"

How to get there:
In Darmstadt-Eberstadt, ride to the graveyard, the into the forrest (the street will lead you there) then follow signs to "Burg Frankenstein". When you are upon the "mountain" inside the castle, quit it through the gate right in front of the entrance, the just going dooown.

This is a place for intermediate and advanced riders only! You can start at the top, by the castle ruins, and have some fun with some "ok" single track with minor drops and jumps. However, once you have gotten to the middle and bottom sections (where everyone camps), the intensity climbs quickly toward dangerous. Advanced and Pro riders should only attempt these sections. You will see many sponsored teams go up here on the weekends for practice. Trees are the major obstacle on this mountain! You must come off of a drop or jump perfectly as you will be within inches of trees at all times. There are several doubles, transitions, a wicked drop launching straight into a ten foot high by 10 foot wide double, and other doubles for mass air time. A few of the massive jumps at the bottom will never be attempted by your average skilled rider, as they truly are for the "Pro/Sponsored" riders only! If you are planning a trip to "The Frank" it is going to be a good time for sure. It is r
