Trail Description:
Park at the Green Valley Park on Pecos and south of Warm Springs. Ride back up to the railroad tracks and cross the street to the south side of the railroad tracks. Head west, taking the single track down to the wash. At the wash, go under the bridge and ride the north track back up to Pecos. Take the single/double track on the north side of the railroad tracks back to the east. Ride the rolling hills fast, on the quick single track, and you will work up a sweat. Before Green Valley Parkway, watch out for the dog poop littered everywhere. The dogs get walked daily by the animal clinic, and they never pick it up. After crossing Green Valley Parkway, there is some single track, but it mostly rolls down hill to Valle Verde. Cross Valle Verde and hit it fast, watching for the single track to the right that will take you over three jumps or around them, depending on your tastes. Single track along the side of the tracks narrows up and gets steep at the end. At the trestle, stay up on the berm and ride across the boards that are on the north side of the tracks. Do not look down, and you will do fine. But it is a thrill. Continue along tracks to Arroyo Grande, crossing and continuing on the north side. Drop down into the old Gravel Pit and ride under the trestle. Ride down and around the lake and if it is still possible, ride out the other side back up to the tracks. At Stephanie, you might have to ride around a fence to get out. Continue to Gibson, on the south side of the tracks. I usually turn around here, but you can keep on to the Chemical Plants where you will pick up the asphalt trail. Eventually you will turn around and come back. It is uphill, so save some some energy. At Arroyo Grande, find the water fountain by the swings and slides north of the bridge, then pick up the paved trail along the wash. At the trestle, zip down and up quickly. At Valley Verde, there is a path under the bridge. Take the paved path along the wash, but watch for the short sections of single track along edge of the wash. More water by the tennis courts at Silver Springs Rec Center. At Green Valley Parkway, head left down into the wash an follow a track down the wash back towards the Silver Springs Rec Center. Stay on the path, keeping up your momentum. Stay out of the gravel. Watch out for the bushes, they are thorny. Ride as far as you can, and you will hit a big sandy spot where you will be able to push the bike back up to the trail. Stop for more water, you will need it. From Silver Springs, follow the trail back to Green Valley Parkway, under the road, up the other side, where it comes out on Pecos by St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. Take a minute to ride down over to Bike Shop
2578 Wigwam Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89074
Phone: (702) 897-1618 and they will give you free air and some post ride advice. Ride back north on Pecos to your car.
How to get there:
Take I-215 toward Henderson and exit a Warm Springs going east. About 2 miles east is Pecos, turn right crossing the railroad tracks. Park near the park.

Directions to the trailhead are incorrect. Go to the intersection of Warm Springs and Pecos. 100 meters south of that intersection is the railroad crossing. Park at the Green Valley park one block south of the railroad crossing. The trail parallels the tracks on the north side, heading east. We only went about a half mile through construction trash, dog poop, nails, glass, etc before turning back. Spend the extra $5 in gas and drive to Cottonwood or B.C.

I'm just getting back into riding again after a 6 year brake and this trail has been my starting point. I havent made it all the way around yet "Well out of shape". From everything I can see both me and my girlfriend love this trail easy and yet at the same time I can play around while she stays on the trail's. I recoumend this trail to anyone. Being that it is winter atm you wont brake much of a sweet.

I lived in Las Vages for 2 years (2002-2004) while going to school at UNLV I lived close to downtown and didn't have a lot time to travel to Cottonwood/Blue Diamond or Bootleg Canyon during the week. I rode this trail at least once a week sometimes twice. It allowed by to get some off road riding in and was a good work out. I would usually ride to the "pit" area and ride around the lake several times. This trial helped keep me sain while I lived in Vegas.
