Trail Description:
It's a fire road going up that can be steep, but coming down is a nice descent. Not steep, but very rocky, gotta be on your toes for this one.

How to get there:
Head south on Bernal Road in San Jose. Drive (or ride) up the hill past the golf course. You can park outside the park to save the $4 fee.

Once inside the park take the Hidden Springs fire road (maps are posted) make a right on the Coyote Peak fire road (this is where it can get steep). Get to the top of the hill and make your way to the old radio tower. Right near there, you'll find the path to Rocky Ridge (singletrack).

Have fun!

That is indeed a ifsfpy hat. I have a couple of hiking hats but I always feel like I look silly wearing them. Yours looks good.Very nice view indeed from the trail! Love it.

Going uphill kind of hard but the downhill is totally worth it. Very rocky and plenty of slick rock, beginners should be able to make it down slowly but I don't recommend it. There is a road near the top of the trail. It's called country view drive, I don't recommend parking there but if you can get a ride then you can avoid the uphill ride.

climbing up is steep but the down hill is worth it. Very rocky and jagged hence the name. I was able to slowly work my way down hill and I have been riding for about 1 month. Very short loop, not more than three miles but there are other trails in the Santa Teresa park. you can aviod the parking fee if you keep driving about 100 yards to a lookout were you can park for free. This ride was technically challenging for myself as a begginning rider but I would imagine the more experienced riders will blow right through it. Also very little shade with very dry and hot terrain
