This trail was a great workout. Good for all types of riders. Lots of technical spots, hills, and roots. Some areas get skinny. If you park by the bridge, there is a trail system that will take you to a park. Go through the park keeping to the left. Follow the path up into the woods. There is a long climb but is worth it cause you will come to a little hang out spot with jumps, birms and hills

i like the fact that the wildlife is so close. i nearly rode into a family of deer.

This is an ok trail. The trail has several bridges with obstructions, so i was not even sure if legally i could be there. The signs say "no motor vehicles" but fail to say if bikes are allowed. Plus a day permit for the places i could access the trail was required, but no guidance at all about where to get it. The trail itself was alright. I am not a great mountain biker and my bike is just a simple one, but it was up for this trail. If you are total newby this wouldn't be a good place though - there are a few hills you have to climb and it is a narrow trail in some parts. Not clearly marked either - but I just kept the water on my left and went around. I think it took me about 45 mins.

I ride Dalewood often as it is close. Decent trail for begginers and good pratice for pros. The trail isn't so much of a loop because there are several break off points that lead away and to some more challengin areas. Staying by the water it suppose to be ther hardest. The trail takes approx 30 minutes to ride steady ( there are benchs throughout if you need a break) but I've managed to do it in 15 minutes after a couple runs to get used to the trail. If ya got a good bike, give these trails ago.

Not to bad of a ride. I will put up a map of St Thomas with the aprox. trial loctions. Over all the trails are well marked with a good variety of hills, roots hard pack, mud,and nice views to look at.The trail is used by hikers as well so have a eye when riding.
