Trail Description:
this is a hiking and orienteering trails through a bird sanctuary. there are a varioty of trails some easier and shorter then others. most trails are physically demanding and slow going to to blow overs and thick forest. great for developing slow speed control and balance. downhillers will be disaponted, its farely flat.

How to get there:
take the elmwood drive exit off the trans canada hwy and head away from the city. and the park is 3 km out.

if you get to hot, theres a small beach at the lake.

Flat XC trails. lots of roots and obstacles. Beautiful siteseeing as you make your way around the lake; eagles, osprey, etc. New loop around the west side of the lake this summer. Future plans connect the lower park to a new trail further out Irishtown road.

good trail, some hiking obstacle in the trail was little hard to by pass, like some trees, but that's my point of view probly most good biker won't have problems. had fun i'll probly go back sometimes.

Novice trails but a good ride. not very long but more is in the works.
