Trail Description:
This trail follows the Little Big Horn River up stream until you reach the top of the Big Horn Mountains. There are several side trails, so be sure to take a topo map with you. This is one beautiful and solitary trail.

How to get there:
Follow I-90 north from Sheridan to the Wyola,Montana exit(which is on the Crow Indian Reservation and you're supposed to have permission) and follow the road that heads towards the big canyon in the Big Horns to the SW (about 10 miles or so). Then follow a very rough road up the canyon about 4 miles to the trail head (may need 4X4). There are ways to get to the canyon without crossing Crow land using backroads from Dayton, Wyoming. Look at maps.

Additional Notes:
Watch out for the bears

This trail is more a hiking trail than a biking trail. However, attempting the climb affords incredible views and solitary conditions. Keep in mind this trail is used by long distance runners during the summer months. Be prepared for a real climb and don't leave your skills at home that day, the drop off into the river might hurt.
