Trail Description:
A long, steep fire road winds to the top of Little Pine Mountain. Along the way, you will pass the saddle and the chalk cliffs that mark the first rest and most difficult portions of the climb.

How to get there:
Take Hwy 154 north from Santa Barbara or South From Los Olivios to Paradise Road. Follow Paradise road until after the first river crossing then bear to the left. Trail starts and ends at the camp grounds.

Additional Notes:
Take lots of water.

I saw rainbow tree ytaeerdsy. Don't know if it was sabotage or just heavy rain. We've had several dead trees fall behind our house with all of this rain, they just don't have the root system to hold them in the ground. I agree it would be a huge bummer if someone was proud of pulling them down.

love this ride. first you climb the long fire road with one particular section called the oven. for good reason. bring lots of water and good legs. once at the top the decent is up there with the best. makes the fire road climb worth every bit of suffering you may have done. very exposed singletrack and for advanced riders only (at speed anyway). thumbs up!
