Im going to try this trail tomorrow, but you SHOULD ride into Skidaway State Park one turn before the 4 way. there are several miles of trails (look at the map first, you can get lost)several bridges and tower that you can climb up that overlooks the Skidaway River. Costs 3 bucks to park, I bought a yearly pass ($30)and ride it every day since its close to where I live.

This is the only real biking trail that I have found in Chatham county and it is fair. the best part about this trail is that it provides enough exercise and conditioning to allow folks in sav/chatham to keep up their fitness for better trails. The biggest problem with the trail happens in summer- Big spiders build webs across the trail that have to be knocked down from June to September.

I rode this whole trail on my fixed gear track bike. It is totally flat and not that exciting but the good thing about this place is the wildlife and the area. Skidaway park is totally beautiful and serene place to take a ride through

A lot I mean a lot of tree roots, almost to the uncomfortable point and not fun to ride over. So be careful.
