How to get there:
Its in the woods on the southeast corner of where SW 20th Avenue intersects with Interstate 75 ....

The reason people are saying that these are closed is because there used to be a larger trail network on the land where the apartment complex is. There is one trail still there that wraps around the complex. Decent loop to link up with others in the area

Not sure why everyone is saying this is closed down, or that trucks get in there(no room). Maybe you guys are thinking of another trail. This one is a nature preserve, according to the various signs posted throughout. I live at cabana beach, found it from the bus stop that part of the complex on 20th ave. Its a fun, easy little series of trails, nothing technical, some muddy spots, couple small log jumps, one area with wooden ramps. I think easiest way to find it is how i did. just go to the bus stop, look to the woods, youll see the little trail leading down into it.

These trails are still here and still alive. Many more all around town. Hit ur local bike shop hopefully they will guide u to a ride. Mr. Goodbike does a tuesday night ride that includes this trail and many more.

I just found these trails by mistake. Enter from 20th Ave and 62nd. Go south into Cabana Beach Apts. and go past the end of the road, following the highway. Go under the cut wire fence and down the old dirt road toward Hogtown Creek. When you get to the creek, follow it to the right (west) and under the highway. This trail continues for a long time and eventually leads to an old dirt road. I was able to find my way back up to 20th ave before sunset but I want to go back and explore further.

It's definately still open. SE corner of I-75. Ride that main trail until the last left before the trail gets cut off. Follow that, enter through the wooden posts, and you'll find the yellow caution tape trail the last poster was talking about. Some of it has been blocked off my large trees. I don't know whats going on there. I've ridden it two days in a row and I have not seen anyone. Not quite sure where the trail ends it just leads you to some construction for those new apartments. Anyways, I think it's worth it.

Been resurrected, it's Nature Ops property now. Stay off the new apartment property and follow the occasional yellow caution tape flags. Maybe 2+ miles contributing to the broader network in G'ville. There's another 3+ miles west of the interstate with climbs. If you find them to be poor, you didn't find them. This and many other short segments make up about a 70 mile trail network in town.

Someone fenced it up and it's now private property. It was fun back in the day but it seems someone wants to develop it. Pity.
