Trail Description:
The best trail in Melbourne in my opinion. Twisty singletrack through Oak woods and palmettos. Not a big area but definately fun and there are some of the biggest jumps/drops in the area.
How to get there:
Sarno Rd to the railroad tracks or park at WestShore junior/senior high and ride west to the bend in the road where there is a bridge to the tracks. From Sarno go south along the west side of the tracks, about half was betweeen Sarno and WestShore look for the trailhead on the right. From WestShore follow the tracks north on the west side, about half way to Sarno on your left look for the trail head. The is a sharp turn onto a narrow trail along a section of a HUGE ditch, be careful not to fall in or you're gonna have fun trying to get out!
Additional Notes:
The trail is named after the temorary residents that live there at times, watch out for them.

This isn't a trail. Not more than a mile long. More of a skateboard ramp park for ATB's. It's short, overgrown, full of litter. Not very pretty. An adolescent BMX hideaway with "seet jumps." Big disappointment.

Yes, it is the best trail in Melbourne, but that is not saying alot. Ben is right (sort of), the trail can get boring, but only after about 30-45 minutes. If you're a local, take a couple of quick loops; its fun and it has some technical spots - a great after work ride. If you're not local, don't bother. And by the way, you can also reach the trails real easy off of Airport Rd. Just follow the canal.
