i ride this trail all the time and it goes from being easy to advanced with in a few miles. it is worth riding for sure. i learned how to mountain bike on it and all i can say is that some parts of it are not for the faint of heart. when riding it you will eventually come to an opining near the grand river. after this the trail gets very technical so if you are a new rider i would recommend that you stop when you get to that clearing. have fun and happy riding!

This trail is fairly flat with not many roots, logs etc... At one section there are some nice climbs and technical downhills and a nice ride along the edge of the river. I didn't find any section with teeter totters or north shore stuff stated above. Watch out for the thorn bushes. Overall not a bad trail - not much to get excited about.

This is a pretty good trail, the best in Brantford i guess.. I wouldn't call it basic to advanced, maybe basic to moderate riders, it's fairly flat and windy for most of the part, with only a few little roots and rocks to ride over, and maybe one little log. There is one spot where there are some rocky hills to run down and right back up, which are a little scary at first, especially if your feet are clipped in, but it's nothing a half decent mountain biker can't do. The downside however is the attitude the hikers give the cyclists, like we don't have the same rights to be there as they do, I find this is a problem all over Brantford. They apparently don't read the signs.. ie. stay to the right(not just cyclists) let ppl pass to the left. Maybe i'll show them what else my water bottle is good for the next time I get this unneccessary attitude from them... lol

i live around the corner and go there often but recently some whino campers cut down a lot of the north shore type stuff and burned it...so if your comming for north type built in stuff its almost all gone....will try to rebuild though

I was on the trail with my buddy R-Dog and the trail was awesome. Its definately not for the faint at heart. I think anyone can do it, if you have some serious guts. Its quite good because it starts off level and wide but keep in mind its misleading b/c that changes. I'm telling everyone to try it once and I am the epitome of amateur. cheers! all.

This trail has everything from beginner to advanced skill levels.Could be developed more with time.It is very windy and quick for some time then runs through a rocky section with some climbs and decents. There is a lot 9of off camber riding through the later portion of the trail and if searched out will lead right to Paris.Loop it around with the S C Johnson trail and it is a great cardio and leg builder.
