Trail Description:
Nice start with a fun downhill that has some rocks, roots, and drops. There are two water crossings on the descent as well - the first one is easy, but the second one is a little eroded, so it's interesting. Make sure you have a lot of speed going into the second one so you can make the next short burst up the hill from the stream. After that you can follow one of two trails. The prefered one is not the one immediately to your right when you come to the fork, but the one to the left that goes uphill. It's a long, but gradual climb to the top of the mountain and then a super fun, smooth, and pretty fast descent to the lake. Then the trail works its way around to where the fork was after the stream crossing. There are some other trails that break off from there, but they're listed in another description. Look for Basset Trail in another posting if you want some masochist riding.

How to get there:
This trail can be found near the Lackawanna State Park. If you leave your car in the park and ride your bike back out to the entrance, then make a right, and then another left, you'll start to go up a hill. This hill will take you up, pass by the ranger station, and then take you downhill to a small bridge. Immediately after the bridge, make a left onto a dirt road. Follow this road for almost 1/4 mile until you see a parking aera on the left. The trail is on the left side of the lot and starts downhill from there.

Additional Notes:
Hardly ever ridden. You're lucky to see one other rider near you most of the year.

cheap sunglasses are famous for his or her hip look and are related to celebrity sportsmen and the Artist crowd. Apart from the awesome look, these wholesale sunglasses are lightweight and are created to last and for this reason they often rather pricey. The nike air griffey max 1 started a revolution when it was released in 2003, and several years later, cheap shox bring surprise to all nike air max penny 1 fans with shox and Air cushioning performance gathered.

Hey guys, this trail is alot of fun. it has a whole variety of riding experiences throughout it. i live about 10 min from the state park and have been riding there alot recently. You can actually ride this trail for about 9 miles if you really want to which will take you around the entire lake. It starts down by the damn across the bridge on the left hand side and is alittle easier at first but once you get to the second half it gets to be alot of fun. There is a couple stream crossings and its all very scenic. The thing is once you get done with the first half you come out of the woods by a boat launch area and have to make your way up to the main road. then before the main bridge that crosses the lake on the right hand side there will be a turn off on the right hand side which brings you into the more fun and aggressive part of the trail. I only rode this trail once and it was tireding but well worth it. Takes about an hour if you go at a good ste

The map here shows the wrong Abington PA. The dot should be far north in Lackawanna County. There is an Abingon in Montgomery County, but you will not find this trail there...
