Trail Description:
The MTB trails in Decorah are moderate to extreme trails that are a nice blend of steep climbing and fast downhill, and they are all in the city's park system. Expect a variety of surface conditions - roots, rocks and dirt. There are many ways to ride these trails.

How to get there:
From downtown go North on First St. First will dead end into Winneshier Ave. Turn right and follow this to the trail keeping left. The trailhead is on the left though you'll see the trail cross the road a couple times before then.

Additional Notes:
These trails have been the site for the first MTB races in the state of Iowa.

Stop at the Oneota Bike shop on the main drag, Deek will get you set up for the best trail riding in Iowa....seriously....it's gorgeous
