Trail Description:
One of the best trail systems to ride in NJ. Some easy trails mixed with technical sections. This area can also connect with other trails in the area.

How to get there:
From Morristown take Rt. 24 west about 10 miles. From Mendham take Rt. 24 EAST about 5 miles. There will be a small dirt parking lot on the north side of the road and a smaller one on the other side. Ride up past the pond along the gravel path and there will be a few different entrances to the trails.

Additional Notes:
On the south side of Lewis Morris Park is Jockey Hollow which unfortunately do not allow bikes. But

A recent controlled burn at LM resulted in widened trails throughout from heavy equipment. We need a maintenance day to perform much needed restoration. Still a great local ride.

Race entry fees are expensive you're lucky to have a low-cost seires convenient to your house. Our local runs are rarely less that $25 which isn't a lot, but it does add up!

Excellent trail, but the people riding horses are killing this area. They destroy the trails and leave horsecrap everywhere. Horses should be banned from all trails.
