Trail Description:
There are a variety of dirt trails to choose from that weave in and out of the rolling hills in Brandon, MS. The hills are not too terribly steep nor are they that tall. However, everything around Little Colorado is lower elevation giving you a pretty good view of just about everything there is to see in MS. It is a great trail to retreat to if you live near the Jackson area simply because it is scenic and just challenging enough to get the heart rate up a bit.
How to get there:
It is located off of Highway 25 in Brandon, MS directly across from St Paul Catholic Church. The address for St Paul is 5971 Highway 25.

These trails are closed because the school board is logging the property. A great system but just a memory. Try the new Ridgeland Trails -see separate posting - being built by the local club TCMBA which are sweet single track.

These trails have no dirt road to be found, it is entirely singletrack with the exception of (jeep road) doubletrack that bisects the property. From I-55 in jackson take Hwy 25 (lakeland drive) north trough flowood, park at Northwest Rankin high school and ride across hwy under the traffic light, trailhead is on your right at end of asphalt. Approx. 15 miles of fun. Advanced riders won't have to click out once, beginners expect a good work-out. Contact The Bike Rack in Flowood for more info.
