In response to the wrong entrance post, there are about 5-6 different entrance points on the loop but one main one at the nature center. happy riding!

Favorite trail in Duluth area, my buddies and I do the outer ring and some of the inner one before winding up on top of the rocky hill. There's a great overlook of the surrounding area. There are several ways to enter, I'll post them once I get them all.

Directions posted are wrong. Park entrance is on the left in the middle of an S curve in the road.

Good mix of hills and flat areas through some of the outer loops. Some points get pretty muddy at times in the year. The majority of the rides deal with a good amount of roots that will easily kick out your back tire. Overall there are some steller trails to keep one entertained.

The outer ring trail is the goods. Big climbs and real steep drops over rocks. Root farms, plank bridges. The inner main bike trail is for people with kids. There is a nature center but it is only open for about 5min. per day. No water so bring lots.

Its a good ride. Not too many hills, the ones that are there are pretty short and not too steep. Some technical parts. If you're in the Duluth area and want a more challanging downhill, check out Chester Park (Skyline Pkwy and 18th Ave.)
