All of these descriptions are wrong!! Stagecoach is connector trail. It goes from Auburn proper down to the confluence. Parking is on Russel road. It is an old stage coach road, pretty views, but just a dirt road. About a quarter mile down the road is a left that leads to some cool singletrack that dumps back onto stagecoach near the bottom. It's about 2 miles and 800 feet down to the confluence. People should not post about trails they don't know or should at least make that clear.

The direction given are to the ForestHill loop - to get to stage coach from I-80 in auburn turn off on maple street - turn left (west) on maple - turn left on lincoln way at light when you go under train trussel go straight down the hill you are on hwy 49 going down the canyon to the confluance area - park on either side of the old foresthill bridge you are at the stage coach trail head (bottom) from here you can ride the clementine loop or go up statge coach which is part of the old stage coach trail of the 1800 hundreds... in fact you can ride up part of the clementine loop and catch the connetor trail and get to the Foresthill loop lower parking lot where the original directions take you... great ride have fun....
